The SBIG CFW-10 is a 10-position filter wheel manufactured by Santa Barbara Instrument Group.

There are two separate configurations for my CFW-10, depending on whether the camera will be used for general imaging or photometry:

For imaging, the current filter positions are:

  1. SBIG/Custom Scientific Clear, Anti-reflection coated
  2. AstroDon Tru-Balance E-Series Luminance, NIR blocked
  3. AstroDon Tru-Balance E-Series Red
  4. AstroDon Tru-Balance E-Series Green
  5. AstroDon Tru-Balance E-Series Blue
  6. AstroDon Tru-Balance E-Series H-Alpha
  7. AstroDon Tru-Balance E-Series OIII
  8. AstroDon Tru-Balance E-Series SII
  9. Empty
  10. DG1 Spectrum Filter

For photometry, the current filter positions are:

  1. Schuler U, Johnson-Cousins UV
  2. Schuler B, Johnson-Cousins Bu
  3. Schuler V, Johnson-Cousins V
  4. Schuler R, Johnson-Cousins Rs
  5. Schuler I, Johnson-Cousins Is
  6. Schuler Ha, 656.3 nm, 9 nm bandpass, 4mm thick
  7. Schuler OIII, 500.7nm, 15 nm bandpass, 4mm thick
  8. Schuler SII, 672.4 nm, 9nm bandpass, 4mm thick
  9. DG1 Spectrum Filter
  10. Empty

Also available for installation are SBIG/Custom Scientific Red, Green, and Blue Anti-reflection coated filters.

The Schuler filters are all parfocal.  Here is the spectral response plot for the UBVRI set from the AstroDon website:

The narrowband Schulers isolate a small portion of the spectrum.  Here is their spectral response curve from AstroDon:

The SBIG/Custom Scientific filters are parfocal dichroic filters.  Here is the spectral response curve per SBIG's website:
