DIFFUSE NEBULA M17 (NGC 6618), THE OMEGA NEBULA / THE SWAN NEBULA

The image below is a narrowband image, taken with a Zenithstar 105mm f/5.6 refractor on June 9, 2007.  The exposure times were Ha=7x10min, OIII=8x10min, and SII=4x10min.  SBIG ST-10XME with AstroDon filters.  Mapped as Ha=Red, OIII=Green, SII=Blue.

The image below was one of my first-ever CCD images, taken at Texas Star Party 2006 with a Meade 12" LX200GPS and SBIG ST-10XME.
