GLOBULAR CLUSTER M4 (NGC 6121)

This image includes the nebula Sharpless 2-9 in the upper left, and M4 in the lower right.  It was taken with a hydrogen-alpha filter.

Telescope: Takahashi Epsilon 180 astrograph, f/2.8
Mount: Celestron CGE, remotely controlled with NexRemote.
Camera: SBIG ST-10XME cooled to -20C, internal guiding.  All images binned 1x1.
Filters, Exposure Times: AstroDon 6nm Hydrogen-alpha 120 min (12x10 min each).
Dates (Universal Coordinated Time): 13-May-2008
Moon Phase: 61%
Location: Xanadu Observatory (backyard setup)
Software: MaximDL, TheSky, CCDStack, Adobe Photoshop
Notes: Adding color will make this region more dramatic.
