OPEN CLUSTER M48 (NGC 2548)

Image acquisition and processing details:

Telescope: William Optics Zenithstar 105mm APO refractor, f/5.6 with 0.8 FR/FF.
Mount: Celestron CGE, remotely controlled with NexRemote.
Camera: SBIG ST-10XME cooled to -30C, internal guiding.  All images binned 1x1.
Filters, Exposure Times: Luminance 14 min (7x2 min), Red, Green and Blue 20 min each (10x2 min each).
Date (Universal Coordinated Time): 15-Feb-2007
Moon Phase: 3%
Location: Xanadu Observatory, poolside

Notes: A beautiful, large open cluster with many stars, this one is a nice eyepiece object.
